Topographical Surveys
These are carried out using the latest equipment and methods, usually a combination of Trimble Total Stations and Leica GPS Systems. Difficult or inaccessible terrain can be surveyed remotely using a contactless method. Open, easily accessible areas can be rapidly surveyed by GPS mounted on our quadbike.
Hydrographical Surveys
These are carried out on inshore waters using our rigid inflatable boat. Both GPS and echo sounder can be mounted onto the boat to provide accurate soundings data.
Building Surveys
Fully dimensioned building surveys can be undertaken, to produce floor plans, elevations and cross sections. High levels of accuracy are achieved using EDM and hand held laser measurers. Floor plans can be created on site using our laptop CAD system.
Volumetric Surveys
Interim and final quantity measurements of bulk earthworks can be provided from data captured by EDM or GPS systems. Survey plans, sections and volume calculation are rapidly provided by our office CAD systems.
All of the above surveys can output in a variety of formats, including AutoCAD, DXF, DWG or MX genio files.
Data can also be output in tabular form or as paper/film hardcopy. Digital data can be forwarded to clients either by e-mail or CD/DVD.
Setting Out
Setting out is undertaken throughout the UK, and includes work on building sites, construction sites and utility pipelines. Setting out information can be downloaded from client data in industry standard formats, then directly loaded into field equipment for error-free stake out.
Monitoring
Monitoring is carried out to show building deformation, landslip and subsidence in 2 or 3 dimensions. Highly stable survey control can be established to provide long term monitoring conditions. Data can be collected by precise level, EDM (remote or direct) or by GPS.
